Help!! I have been trying for many months to acquire the codes for my sling-loaded DVR receiver. 0122 turns it on or off, but oddly not when you test it. i have updated my firmware, but still no codes. i was going to "teach" the remote, but the dish remote is only RF so u can not use it to teach the MX 450. and they always take your old remotes so i can't even use that. can anyone help me? I'm about to loose my mind!! I've tried to call dish, but they are a bunch of morons, no offense.
if anyone can help i would really appreciate it. oh, and I'm a novice, as if you couldn't tell, so you have to use plain English with me I'm afraid.
