The first thing is NOT letting SB build your pages. The built in logic does not want to be screwed with.
I'm doing it right now in SIMPL and learning. The curve is huge but it's where I want to go. I have a complete Crestron system at home and it's what I use to practice with. I downloaded a bunch of the Demo programs and open up 2 separate SIMPL windows and see what they've done. I feel you need to take the Essentials class and then things start to make a lot more sense and it allowed me to follow and understand what they do. (I also hit the F1 help key ALL the time!) I don't think I could do it without at least a processor to upload to and make sure what you're doing is right.
I still will use SB for the smaller jobs as it's so much faster but SIMPL does allow a lot more control and many SIMPL modules offer a lot more functionality vs their SB counterpart.

Funny, you're the only one in this thread talking about IP control douchebag. He asked about programming in SIMPL and your entire post has nothing to do with it. I know this must be hard for you but maybe try to stay on point and if you don't have anything constructive to add to the post, stay away.
