I used the logitech 520 for a few years until it broke and then Harmony One until it broke after two usage.

Now I am looking for something better. My setup is not that complex:
Pio kuro Plasma
anthem mrx receiver
xbox 360
ps3 (via harmony adapter)
nmt popcorn a300
cable box (now tv)
dvd player
apple tv

What i want in a remote:
durable and not cheap plastic
mostly hard buttons (small touch screen ok)

I also want something i can configure via a PC. the harmony software is too dumbed down.

I was looking at the urc mrx 780/880/980 and managed to get the URC CCP software (don't have a remote) to have a go at setup and think i have a fair idea, but since the remote doesn't do state management, i am having issues with some items (my cable box doesn't have discrete on/off) and the URC database doesn't have my tv (pio krp-500a) or the popcorn a300 although it seems i can learn the code.

also i live in hong kong and urc doesn't have a dealer out here it seems. the philips prontos also look good but as with all the pro remotes, not sure where i can get any of them :(
