Is this specific to the 980? I don't work with it all that much to be honest, but work with the 780, 880, and 900 a LOT and have never had an issue. In fact, without any delays all three of those remotes work perfectly everytime.
Only the 980 and 350 combo. At least I haven't run into this with other remotes.
