You guys really need to chill with the whole professional software thing. You treat this like it's a national secret. Knowledge is all out there guys. The days of yesterday you "professionals" could get away with hoarding knowledge but today it's all out there for all to learn and practice with. Just look at Home Depot and Lowes.... I'm sure the professionals , contractors etc were upset about losing the abundant jobs most homeowners who do a little homework can do on their own. For you guys charging $75-$100 an hour to do this...shame on you! So suck it up a bit when a DIY gets the motivation to learn on his own. If you don't want to help just simply don't respond. Your negative comments are not going to deter me. It doesn't matter where I got the software from. I have it and that's that.

As far as what I mean by the selection for IPOD and Wii I'm talking about the IR Data From: field. There's no category that fits under those two devices. and what about Air conditioning units? These all have to be entered manually by using the learn feature?

Also I'm aware of trying the higher generic ONKYO numbered models but I don't yet have the remote to test with(ordered it today). I'm simply getting a head start. I read the manual and I'm learning...

As far the ONKYO HTIB I kept the receiver and ditched the speakers for Polks with a 7.1 setup. Sounds very nice imo. But that's neither here nor there. I did find another product code HTP-590 but that isn't listed either.

I just figured with as much money as people pay into this whether other codes are the same or not, urc could take time to update the list.
