Sorry for so long for the reply... I haven't been on here in a long while. If you still need the answer, here it is. All I do is create a macro, for example "vol up macro". The only thing I put in it is the volume up code. The only thing this does is cause the code not to repeat by holding down the button. So then you have to press the button for each increment of the volume or whatever you're controlling, but it's better than it running away.
