In Simpl, the timer can *only* be activated if the projector or display is asked to turn on. It would have no effect when selecting audio-only sources, or to perform functions that don't need the projector, like lighting, HVAC, etc.
For a showroom with multiple displays, you could also have a *separate* timer for each display.
Finally, you can add a "cancel timer" button to the subpage, to over-ride it. The button could be hidden, if you don't want the end-user doing it. I usually set it up with a transparent button over the entire page, so touching it will clear the subpage (but not cancel the timer). Touching and *holding* the button/subpage for 3 seconds will clear the subpage AND cancel the timer, allowing the power command to be sent instantly. This is very useful when we're testing the system.
