Its easier to manage for sure. I had a problem with it initially because i didnt understand it. Once i did i realized how awesome it is. The subpages are driven with programming. This is what confused me at first.

As an example you have your header and footer on subpages. So your navigation menu and time and date and maybe volume control. Instead of copy paste that on every page you just do it once and then make it a subpage reference for all of the pages it will be on. Then if you need to swap out the security icon with an ipod icon you do it once and the changes happen across the entire gui.
