Well, 08904 is Sony15, device 176, function number 32. So you have a normal Sony receiver. Unfortunately, the Comcast remote isn't able to send the HDMI signals, which use Sony20, device 16, subdevice 40.
You either need a JP1.3 flash cable or buy a:
RCA RCRP05B (Walgreens, Best Buy $20)
OnForAll URC-8820N (may be really cheap at Sears right now.)
Use setup code 2172.
