To be honest we don't use Pronto remotes. The only reason I have PEP2 installed on my PC is to help people here otherwise I would not have it installed.

The Q50 and S70 use Zwave (2-way) to communicate with a NC-50. The S70 has wi-fi and web browser and wi-fi does drain the battery (about 5 hours not docked) but you can turn it on or off on any page. Basically just use it when you need it e.g. weather, sonos, squeezebox, TV Guide, email etc. Works best on mobile sites.
