I was never able to get the NEVO serial cable (attached to the NC-50) to work with serial devices. I gave up and use IR but if HEX is faster than I'll give it another shot. I have a Denon AVR5700. Their RS-232C Connection spec is:

- DB-9 female type slave straight connection
- Half Duplex
- 9600bps
- 8 bit
- Start and Stop bit is 1 bitTheir

Serial command for "System Power On" is: PWON
Serial Command for "Master Volume Up" is: MVUP

Is that format acceptable for the NEVO Q50?

Also trying to get an EPSON projector to respond the IR HEX commands. The ASCII "Power On" command for the projector is:

:PWR ON (RETURN COMMAND)

Not sure what the Epson return command is. How would I get this code to something NEVO compatible?
