I then started incorporating my own files and used clipart I had. I then also shot digital pictures of my ceiling fans, outdoor bar etc. I found that most PCF files had way too many buttons and were way to cluttered, which I thought made the interface too confusing to use. The coolest thing is to be able to control my electronic vertical blinds, turn on my icicle patio lights, outdoor stainless steel bar blue fluorescent lights, kick on my projector and 92-inch screen and watch movies sitting at my bar outside watching thru my living room window. The buttons are all original (except for a couple that I borrowed elsewhere). All the buttons have been tweaked for display on the remote. It has several wait pages for when a long macro plays. All devices have discrete power on and off. I have duplicated the cursor buttons on a lot of the screens because the wife has trouble pushing the "Hard" buttons with her arthritus. There have been some new bitmaps added, many modified, and a few minor changes.Just about any page is only 2 or 3 button pushes away. I even used rocker switches for my power on and off buttons! It has been cetified as wife friendly. The PCF has been tested in the 3000 remote and most of the bitmaps had to be darkened for best viewing. There is a lot of difference between the simulator and the actual remote views. This time I thought I would work on a design that used the colors found on the remote housing, plus some contrasting color that shows up well in the daytime. The background screen on buttons reminds one of the old tuner "eye" on ancient stereo equipment (now you know I'm over 50) so I call this a retro design. I was unable to get this to work in remote with latest firmware so I use it with V1.6.5. Current menu scrolls across top of screen as choice is implemented. All new button design took the most time because of highlighting. Dishnetwork channel logos (Dallas/Ft.Worth) are included in Themes.
