Welcome to the Home Theater Master MX-500 file area!
In this section you'll find a collection of device and system files contributed by fellow MX-500 remote control owners. Most files will be presented in M5 format, which can only be used with the third-party IRCLONE-MX hardware and matching 500e Editing Software program. The IRCLONE-MX utilizes the MX-500's IR remote-to-remote cloning capabilities to transfer files to and from your computer.
Unfortunantly, the company who manufactured this accessory is no longer selling it. So, it's even more important that if you have one you please take the time to send us your files for archival. And if you're looking for something not already available, request it in the message forum!
When downloaded to the MX-500 this file shows all 256 characters that the MX-500 can display. It is provided to see if there are any characters that MX-500 users would like to have over and above those which HTM currently provides. 250 characters are found on the FAV pages and the remaining 6 at the top of the MAIN page.
An M5 file showing LCD characters, stock and new, that can be copied and pasted in 500e Editor. File should be downloaded to see what characters actually look like on the remote.
