For: Philips ProntoPro NG By: Robert Boazman | Contest Entry #30: Make It Work This is my first PCF design for the TSU7000. I created this design to accommodate my 6 year old son and my wife. Like most, she doesn't want to learn about all the equipment. As she says, "Just make it work."The design is simple to use and is based on our most frequently used activities. These icons are on almost all pages, DirecTV, TiVo and HDTV icons. Since some of the equipment, like the Yamaha, is new to me, I'll be adding functionality over time. Most pages have a browse back button, even though one is hard coded. Easy access to guides and info. A complete collection of CD cover art provides direct access to any CD. TiVo is used frequently. Buttons are built from stock Liatro buttons. Thanks to Daniel and all the Remote Central forum members and their designs. I borrowed from everyone. Special thanks to Dave D'Arche for the Pronto Wizard Guide. It saved me many hours and he was extremely helpful with my email questions. |

The television is controlled by the RTI remote, the remainder of the IR commands are directed to the Phast Cardframe and the it flashes the appropriate components. Components: RCA DirecTV, Proscan VCR, Toshiba DVD, Replay, Nakamichi 5-Disc, AMC AM/FM Tuner and Fujitsu 42" HDTV Plasma. |

The unique part is the NFL setup: I've filled in the entire DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket 2004/2005 regular season schedule by week, with icons for each team. The icons are linked to channel buttons to allow simultaneous control of two TVs for "Picture and Picture" action every Sunday. |

For: Pronto TSU9600 By: Kevin Brehm | Contest Entry #10: RGBCYM Everything This is the highly anticipated and much talked about “RGBCYM Everything” remote template that everyone has been waiting for. ;-) This template file is large because it is filled with over 1900 buttons! The buttons are set in six different colors, three different sizes, and two different shapes. These buttons have been created using “Crystal Button”. If anyone would like the “Crystal Button” templates for these buttons, download the file and get my Email address from the “INFO” page.This remote template has been designed with speed of programming in mind. You do not need an image editor to change backgrounds or button images. While other remote layouts may look fancy, they may also take a long time to customize when your customer wants to add just one more piece of equipment. The buttons are organized so that you can either copy/paste or ctrl/drag the button to the page you are designing. Since there are three button sizes, you can scale the button to match the needs of the page. Color coding of the buttons is an essential element to a well designed touchscreen. Network Logos - Brent Buchner's DSS Logos 324 colour DSS Channel Logos for all 3 of the DSS satellites at the various sky positions (oval dish, multi lnb), so there are some different US networks, as well as lots of Spanish programming network icons. Images are borderless, converted to 256 colour bitmaps. Most are 52x39 pixels. |

The DirecTV HD receiver changes from a Sony to a Samsung model which has a different feature set. The instruction screens have been significantly improved and now incorporate active buttons, enabling the user to activate functions directly from an instruction screen if desired. An X10-based lighting screen has been added. |

For: Philips TSU2000 By: David Chalif | David Chalif's First Pronto CCF This is my first attempt at programming my Pronto. After many attempts and much tinkering, I have a complete CCF configuration which includes all the remote functions on the Hughes HD Receiver. Many of the channels on a DIRECTV system are one-button accessible, and video switching is done through macros on one of the home screens. Thanks to everyone whose bitmaps and ideas I freely borrowed. |
