Philips Pronto Professional TSU9600
Philips Pronto Professional TSU9600
The CEDIA Expo 2006 show floor officially opens tomorrow, but before we head off to wander the booths and discover the latest goodies I wanted to bring you an early preview (well, okay, it's been previewed for some weeks, so how about an early DETAILED preview) of the the new color touchscreen remote from Philips, the Pronto Professional. The TSU9600 is the first remote control to sport a 3.7" color LCD with full 640x480 resolution. It also features a rechargable Lithium Ion battery, WiFi connection, optional WiFi extenders and much more!

As a continuing part of our pre-CEDIA show coverage we now have a page with full details on the TSU9600 along with exclusive photos. And, once again, we'll be filming Philips' presence at CEDIA in HD - along with every other remote we can find!

Note: updated on September 14th with the official press release, photos of the extenders, and further details.
