New remote control review!
Today I’m pleased to announce a new review of the Crisp Solutions UCommand 626 graphical touchscreen learning remote control! As the UC-626 is an updated version of the UC-616 (which has already been reviewed on Remote Central), you’ll find the new remote's section at the end of the existing UC-616 review.
The improved UC-626 not only adds a new serial communications dongle that replaces the optional docking station for PC communications, but also improves a number of other areas as well – and the price remains the same!

Updated Pronto FAQ
The venerable Unofficial Philips Pronto FAQ has been updated once again. This time, the whole document has been re-organized, with several new categories and many topic moves. You’ll find 15 brand new questions and updates to a couple of dozen of others – it’s the biggest update in quite a while! Remember, all of the old section numbers are now obsolete!
Naturally, this FAQ is good for all remote controls based on the Philips Pronto. That includes the ProntoPro, all Marantz models, plus the Yamaha RAV-2000 and Onkyo CHAD. If you haven’t yet seen the FAQ, you owe it to yourself to give it a read: there’s a lot of useful information available!
