MX Designer released...
Those of you with Home Theater Master MX-1000 remote controls will likely be pleased to hear that Universal Remote Control has just released a new version of their PC software, now named MX Designer v2.25. This revision incorporates a great number of changes, bug fixes and improvements over the previous version - indeed it feels like a total rewrite.

Not only has MX Designer shrunk in terms of download size, but it utilizes a new install program that should solve the setup problems previously experienced by some users. The new software sports a revamped user interface with properly proportioned preview screens and much quicker operation, but what's even better is that all components are finally stored in a single .mx file. No more separate button, learned data and model files! So - if you've got an MX-1000, be sure to check this new software out. You can download it from the link below, or check out the quick start programming guide.
