Strengths:greatly improved visibility, color high resolution screen, improved CPU speed.
Weaknesses:high price
Review:The fourth Pronto owned by me. Starting with the "glorious" Philips 890, passing for a couple of Marantz (RC5000 and RC5200) ending with this gorgeus piece of art.
The TSU7000 is totally improved, in all the characteristics. It's perfectly visible on the dark, perfectly usable (no errors at all, touching the TFT), allows the owner to produce spectacular high resolution layouts.
Its cost is an issue, but it is possible to find street prices far away from 1000$, making it an incredible bargain.

Strengths:visual clarity of touchscreen, responsiveness of the remote
Weaknesses:battery usage (but if returnt o the cradle nightly not an issue)
Review:This is my third Pronto. The first was actually a Marantz unit, and was fine for the time. The screen was hard to read and the unit "misfored" more than once. However, it was my first touchscreen and was a gadget freak's dream. then, I upgradd to the TSU 3000. Screen was much clearer, but still hard to read. Also, it seemed ot be slow in terms of executing the command - there seemed ot be an ever so slight delay form the push of the button to the response of the component. Then, for Christmas, my father-in-law surprised me with the Pro NG. I simply could not believe the vibrancy of the 64k color screen, and the response time was lightening quick. The unit does eat battery power (the screen draw, I imagine), but it comes with a rechargeable battery and a cradle/recharger, so as long as we replace the unit in the cradle at bedtime, it is fine. This unit is fun to use and the screen is simply fantastic. The price is a real whopper, but the quality is there. Recommended highly.
