Strengths:Great looking, Very customisable, good battery life, very strong IR emitters which manage to reach even an almost dead set top box without direct aiming. Can learn codes for airconditioners (very long codes). Comfortable to operate. PEP 2 is SO easy to use, I had a basic setup working in a couple of hours (have never used pronto before this).
Weaknesses:Could have been smaller so as to fit better into a single hand.
Review:This is my first real customisable, touch screen remote, although I investigated many before buying. IT IS AMASING. I am able to control my lights, airconditioner, dvd player, radio, amplifier, receiver, tv, set top box, etc. It works every time the first time. My complete setup took around 3 weeks of tinkering in the evenings and weekends, admittedly it could have gone faster, but this was the first time and I am a real pain in getting things perfect. I can now hit one button and my dvd player is switched on, amp, tv, sound modes selected, lights dim slowly, etc etc, I can even control my Itunes library and view cover art from it, all this without any complex coding or programming, just a bit of patience.

This is so great and the product is super-slick. Pity no actions are linked to the rotary wheel - you have to program scripts for it to become active...

Strengths:It has a clear bright screen. A nice size and weight. It feels comfortable to hold. The hard button layout is easy to see and use. Tilt on Sensor is cool. The buttons light up.
Weaknesses:It looks like it will break if i drop it. Learning codes and adding devices must be done with a computer connected. No timer. No control over the type of sounds it makes. The wheel does not have any direct control to link it to any action.
Review:It's all good with this remote. I was able to transfer my pronto 3000 configuration easily. The additional buttons made made for minor adjustments to the configuration. The screen is bright and clear. Going from page to page is very quick compared to the 3000. It was surprising how much faster it was.
