Elite Screens ZR800D You might think that the name “Elite Screens” would tell you everything there is to know about the company in question – namely that they make projection screens. But look through their product catalogue and you’ll discover that they’re far more versatile than that, delving into other fields such as home theater seating, speakers, display wall mounts, plus accessories for the above. And it’s under that “accessories” category where we find the company’s only current product that would warrant coverage here on Remote Central – the ZR800D Learning Universal Remote.

As the company’s first universal remote control design, Elite Screens have opted to make the $99 ZR800D an 8-device model that merges a small backlit LCD screen with numerous hard buttons. You’ll also find a preprogrammed code database, infrared code learning capabilities and macro support.

Today I’m very pleased to present our full review of the ZR800D Learning Universal Remote. This review represents the 65th remote control covered here on Remote Central, and as usual you’ll find numerous photos and plenty of details. Enjoy!
