Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
(8 votes)
Location:throughout the movie
Features:Great channel separation and effective panning effects
Description:When something explodes on screen, it starts out in the front speakers, and you can actually hear it noticeably emanate towards the back of the room. Debris lands behind you, and you can literally hear it skittering off to the sides. The panning effect is particularly noticeable and effective at the climax of the crane chase sequence.

The Bourne Supremacy
(2 votes)
Location:Ch 12
Features:Great surround effects in traffic, great sound track!
Description:This is the Paris chase scene. The part going down the alley, with the motorcycles whizzing by, along the Seine, with traffic skidding all around, horns blaring, cars crashing, and then finally, the glass of the phone booth exploding, with shards tinkling all around you, puts you in the passenger seat of the Mini for one of the best chase scenes in modern filmography! Throw in Paul Oakenfold's "Ready, Steady, Go!" and you've left your seatbelt off!

"You can never come back to this car, understand?"

The Fifth Element
(4 votes)
Location:Diva Scene

The Haunting
(2 votes)
Location:The whole movie
Features:Gratuitous use of BASS
Description:Not the greatest movie but has obscene amounts of bass through out. The haunted house in the movie (not yours) will push your sub to the limit. A must rent if you just added a sub to your system, but dont have high expectations for the story. Just experience it for the sound FX and visual FX + Cathrine Zeta Jones... GD
