I have been using the Harmony 768T for about 4 years. It's ok... wife and kids don't like it. I would prefer for it to have more details regarding button control during a function. (sometimes we forget which button is programmed to do what) etc.

I need advice!!!

I was considering the new Harmony 1000. But others say just use the 880. Of course I would really like to find something that will also run the PS3, but I haven't been able to find a remote that does IR and bluetooth.

Is there someway to connect an IR to the PS3 and run it with a all in one IR remote?

Would like to stay under $500, but I am a firm believer in not skimping, just to regret it latter.

check out the Harmony 880 I own the 890 it's identical to the 880 but comes with the rf extender I don't know if u need an rf extender I do because I have a projector with an electric screen that drops down in front of my wall unit so the infra red dous not go through the screen so i need the rf extender so I can access my components. I am looking to maybe upgrade to the 1000 still dont know much about it but I can tell you my 890 works great really easy to program and fool proof to operate even a child can easily understand how to use it (once its programmed of course).

If you need a wife, and kid proof remote, try the Pronto. If this is programmed the right, simple way, it becomes the best user friendly remote IMO.
