These are my devices i currently have and future devices are listed as well.
- RF lamp switcher (a crude inline rf button remote switcher kinda "as seen on tv-like")
- RF Hampton bay ceiling fan
- Xbox360
- Psyclone av switcher with 7 button remote which can be read by a programmable remote unlike the 2 button version
- scientific atlanta cable box
- Microsoft Zune dock and remote (i suppose someone has found the codes to it)
- Sony WRPTV
- Lasko IR windtunnel fan
previous programmable remote experience logitech 360 remote (garbage at the time)
So im looking for a nice touch screen or handheld remote with ir and rf capabilities and all around good product.
Future additions, maybe house appliances and more av equipment

Impossible. You cannot learn the RF from the lamp switcher or ceiling fan. The "RF" on universal remotes means the IR can be converted to an RF frequency for use through walls, etc, then back to IR.
However, you can control the Xbox 260, AV Switcher, Cable Box, Zune, TV, and IR windtunnel fan from a universal remote.

alright, well... i guess that means any good pronto, logitech, or other good brand should suffice for my needs..
