Hi. I have a Harmony Elite. I would like to do a few things that it can't do, however overall I am very satisfied with it. My only concern is that Harmony is no longer producing remote so I would be at a loss if my remote died tomorrow. Should I buy another now and keep it on the shelf? Or is there another company like Harmony that makes higher end consumer remotes?

I'm shopping around for a replcement for my Harmony 700 that's dying.
There's a couple options...
Sofabaton X1. Has 'activity' functionality (ie, press one button to set a bunch of things on mutliple devices/macros)
Their next lower remote (U1?) does not.

OneForAll has a $50 (control 8, i think is what it's called) that does 'activities.'

Other than that, I'm not sure what else is out there as people are mostly (not me) using their phones as remote controls.
