I just got a new Atlas 1056B03 remote to replace one that died. Everything works fine with my older model Panasonic Smart TV EXCEPT when I press the source key to change inputs to my DVD (was always Input 1), it won't accept OK/Select when I arrow down and highlight Input 1. It will let me arrow down and it highlights Input 1, but when I press OK, it brings up a screen with choices like Picture, Audio, Timer, Lock, Setup. If I choose any one of those and press OK, everything goes away and I'm back to watching TV like usual.

Can you help me figure out how to make this remote actually accept OK to change inputs successfully? Any help would be appreciated!

The usual remedy is to map an advanced code, which are 5 digit codes for individual function, but your remote doesn't allow to map advanced codes on the remote itself. You would need to get jp1 cable and hack, sorry.

Edmund, thanks for the reply. Would you say this holds true for all Atlas remote models, or would another model allow this code mapping?

The first generation of the 1056b01 allows for advanced codes. So if you're using tv code 10250 for the panasonic the efc would 103 or 00103. Don't remember if they take 3 or 5 digit efc's

To map it to a key:

1. tv
2. press and hold SETUP for two blinks release
3. enter 9 9 4
4. press sETUP for one blink
5. enter 3 or 5 digit advanced code
6. press OK
