I used to know and program Xantech software and URC remotes to download Hex commands and programmed all our equipment in two homes. After years of non-programming (everything running fine) I've forgotten a lot of the complexities and lost the software. Have a new Samsung TV with a remote "Home" button that is literally unlearnable, so I have to go back to getting a Hex code (found on this site) into a remote that can be learned by another. What is the simplest way to do that?

You can go to ebay found URC mx-700, you can find the software for the NXG remotes on RC that will allow you to program the mx-700. Includes the universal browser to import pronto hex.
