I have a Atlas 1056 cable remote which could turn on the receiver with code "0110" but couldn't turn off. I could turn it off with code "1304" but not on. Why was that??

Do I need to buy a remote [which kind] that might work correctly?? Thanks!

HK use two key power scheme, one key for off and another for on. With only one power key on the cable remote, you need two devices to get both commands. You could program the device with code 1304, key move the power command to another key like so:

1. audio device
2. press and hold SETUP for two blinks
3. enter 9 9 4
4. press the power key
5. pick another key other power, press

Now reprogram the audio device with code 0110, the power command from code 1304 will still be there, now you have a device with both commands present.

Only could program the "AUD" device key for Powering on and off my receiver.
Other device key such as " Aux" and "DVD" could not be program to turn on or turn off power"

UPDATE:
Got it working after some research! I have to use 9-9-2 command to reassign the "AUD" key to the "AUX" key , then I could program it to "Power on and off"
