The remote control for my Malata DVP-520 DVD player has died on me. Finding an exact replacement looks like it's going to be well nigh impossible. Any suggestions on where to look? Can I replace it with another and if so, which remote? Please bear in mind that my knowledge of remote controls and all things technical is about a 5 out of 100. I liked the Malata DVP-520 DVD player with its code free/progressive scan built-in PAL to NTSC conversion precisely because it was so easy to use. I don't really need a universal remote to control a lot of other equipment -- I just want to find a remote that will work for this. All help and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
