Hello all - I'm looking to help out my father-in-law with a remote for his Samsung TV and BluRay player. He's in his 80s and both his eyesight and cognitive abilities are failing.

Most of the "senior" remotes I've seen are overly simplistic universal remotes that would succeed at replacing the two remotes he has now, but won't help with the (now) complex task of switching the TV inputs between the OTA antenna and the HDMI port for the BluRay player.

I guess I'm looking for an entry level programmable remote that doesn't have too many small buttons. Bonus points for not requiring Internet access

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kent

Try to check out Sony RM-EZ4 2. It has large buttons and is easy to use.
