OK, I have had every model of Pronto that has come out and am growing sick of them never working properly then instead of fixing it, they just come out with a new one that does not work or even worse with LESS features...

I am most happy with the iPronto. But am ready to upgrade as it is having problems of course.

Does anyone know of a remote with similar size and features as the iPronto with the following main features:

1. Large color touchscreen
2. Customization of remotes graphics/layouts/macros/commands/etc. via PC software
3. Able to LEARN both IR and RF comands
4. Has an RF extender available with out having to use existing wi-fi router
5. Able to view basic web pages
6. Will not be abandonded by a new model before the current model actually works!

Thanks all...

Micah

There are really no US IR remotes which can learn RF. In Europe, due to their RF standard, they have some latitude which we do not have.

Otherwise, micahTV, your dreams can be handled by the Pronto TSU9600. Let me know if you have questions, etc. Except, no other IP devices can be viewed, so at this time, no web-based stuff, except the Escient Fireball media devices.

Seems like the T4 Universal Controller, has nearly all the features I am looking for. has anyone had any experience with this remote? Where can you buy it and for how much does it run? I found NO listings on eBay for it?

RTI is only available to professional installers.

If you want one, consider going to a local CI and see what they can do for you.

Other than that, you'll have to get something other than RTI.

You mean they do not sell that remote to the public? You have to hire a professional installer to get one? That makes no sense?
