I need a remote for an elderly relative that can operate a Verizon FIOS Digital adapter, a WDTV Live Media player and s Symphonics SD TV. I considered Logitech but this person often loses or damages a remote. When I would want to do with this remote is:

1) Turn he TV on and off.
2) Switch channels on the Digital Adapter
3) Switch between inputs on the TV
4) Operate the WDTV Live
5) Have the WDTV Live automatically log into Netflix and go to an account I've set up for them by pressing a button.

I need to automate this as much as possible and use as few buttons possible so I'm not constantly bothered with support calls.

I was thinking of a JP1 remote. Does anyone know if they can do things like this?
