Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to put this request in, but I'm looking for a remote that is currently still in production that will be able to turn on my LG TV at a specific time every morning. I've tried the search function here and it leads me to old remotes that are currently not in production, or full fledged systems which are well beyond what I need.

I appreciate any an all help.

Why does it still have to be in production? There are no current remotes with that feature. Buy an old remote, like the Memorex cp8 or cp8 turbo. Or the OFA producer 8, or the sony rm-av3000. Leave it off to the side, let it do one thing and one thing only, turn on your tv when you need it. The memorexes, which are learning remotes only, no preset code, just teach the power commands. Other they may not have LG code listed, try goldstar codes instead.

The only reason I would like a more recent one is because a lot these remotes are older and not in great shape, or have many reviews that say they freeze up occasionally (such as the Sony RM-AV3000 and 3100). I'll look into the remotes you mentioned though, and see if any are something I haven't come across yet.
