I own multiple comcast universal remotes can I hack/use one of them to send that code?

if not is there a remote out there for under 40$ that I can use to send that code?

The reason I need to press HELP is to reset the lamp hours on my projector so it will turn on. Without the remote I'm stuck with a brand new projector lamp bulb and projector that won't turn on without the remote.

No Comcast remote will work, unless you buy a cable to connect to a computer.

Or, you can get a RCA RCRP05B for $15, assign setup code 0882 to the TV button.  Then assign EFC 00038 to some button using the 994 Command.  

Oh okay cool thanks for the reply I think I'll go with the RCA remote could you possible explain how the 994 command works It says to "TYPE the 3 or 5 digit EFC code (aka "advanced code)" What would I type in if I want to send this specific command?

Edit: I just bought the RCA remote now I just need to figure out how to send this custom code because the remotes manual of codes doesn't include any for projectors

Assign setup code 0882 to the TV button:
1) Press the TV button
2) Hold Setup until 2 blinks
3) Enter 0882.  The remote should blink twice.

Assign EFC 00038 to e.g the Info button:
1) Hold Setup until 2 blinks
2) Enter 994  (2 blinks)
3) Tap Setup (don't hold it)
4) Enter 00038
5) Press Info  The remote should blink twice.

Now when you press info it will send  NEC1 IR protocol device 14.9 function number 78, which is the decode of the supplied Pronto Hex.
