Hi guys, I'm so glad i found this forum! I've been doing some searching, but I'm not quite sure some of it still applies so I'm gonna ask my question anyways. The setup that I am trying to use a universal remote for is:
Samsung un46es6100 (TV) LG BH6820SW (Home Theater)
Basically I'm wondering which remote will allow me to retain full functionality for the samsung smart hub I guess, that isn't $400.00. I'd like to keep it around $50.00 or lower if possible. I've found a few remotes that could possibly work but there doesn't seem to be an "extra" button to use as the Smarthub button. I was thinking maybe the Harmony 650 might work, but I'm not sure. I've read that those have a high failure rate as well? Thanks everyone in advance!

Yes, the Harmony 650 or better Harmony models will work. What you do is build a extra activity called 'Watch Smart Hub' that uses the TV and LG home theater. The input on the TV doesn't need to be set, but home theater should be set for TV audio. Then assign a soft key to Smart Hub command.
Optionally you can add the SmartHub command to starting the activity and Exit, Exit for activity end. Given the layout it's best the 'Watch Smart Hub' be the 4th activity on a Harmony 650. Also add the cable box (if used) to the activity and reassign the channel up, channel down to the cable box.
