I have searched and am getting down to my last hair.... please help.

I am replacing a dying URC 10820N remote. For me it is the perfect remote, modestly priced, more than enough device buttons and full support for EFC discrete code programming and Learning.

So of course it is no longer made.

I know it is blasphemy in some circles but I really don't want to spend a lot of money. To me it is just a remote. No need for LCD displays or other more advanced features.

The problem is finding one that supports EFC programming. I have looked at the URC WR7 but it is not clear if it supports EFCs. I looked at others but was soon out of the target price range ($10-30). Evene then many of them do not do simple EFC programming.

Am I chasing my tail here? Are there any "basic" remotes that will support EFC programming?
