Hi, I'm looking for a Universal Remote for the SCIENTIFIC AMERICA 4200HD cable box, for OPTIMUM/CABLEVISION service ?
I don't know where to start ?
Should it be a SCIENTIFIC AMERICA universal remote ?

Many universal remotes support the SA 4200HD. One example is the RCA RCRP05B. Use setup code Cable 1877. Even cheaper would be a Comcast remote from eBay. New ones are typically available for $6 shipped. Setup code 01877, and use the 982 command to unlock the cable setup code before assigning 01877.
