Having used a PRONTO in one form or another for the last 10 years I am in trouble as my 960 is on the way out and having been able to program it to do everything on a touchscreen device from switching my lights/heat/tv an sky box through an extender in one room to playing music and shutting everything on and off in another (you get the idea).
Is there anything out there I could get touchscreen / programmable ?
I can find nothing small enough or as programmable.
Please Help,
Thanks,
Ian

You can still find Pronto's out there if you look.

Hi,
I do realize that, but with my lack of strength and mobility I would hope to find something a bit smaller and lighter, there must be something out there?

The last generation of Pronto's were pretty small and light weight, so are Nevo's. Those are the only brands that you will be able to get and program yourself. The other brands' software is for dealers only.

Yes, but if you are using a mac with mountain lion, you will not be able to use PE to program it.

Thanks for the response, even if it is FIVE months later.

BTW, you can't use any Mac OS to run any of the remote programming software out there. You have to run it in Windows.
