So here's my current setup, 73" rear dlp, with my gaming computer, dvr, 360 all connected w/ hdmi. I also have an old Sony 5.1 surround sound 150w receiver. I currently use the remote that comes with my tv for everything and a wireless mouse and keyboard for te computer.

I'm looking for a remote that is learning programmable, control at least 4 devices, one of which being the computer via any wireless interface(rf/ir). I have found one on amazon. [[Link: amazon.com]]. Wondering if anyone has tried it, or possibly tried another that is similar to that, w/ the thumbpad and track ball built into the remote. Thanks.

There is a saying I think about every time I see something like that, "you get what you pay for".

Interfacing with computers with a remote has always been troublesome to say the least, one of the downfalls of the media center PCs.

Do you currently have an IR interface for your computer? If not, you will need to get one.

Look into remotes from URC, they have a wide selection of quality remotes. However, if your price range is near what you linked to, then you are just SOL.
"You can't fix stupid."
