Hi,

I'm using an old remote recommended by this site years ago, an RCA. I have just purchased some new components and now need something that has a screen (for ease of use for the wife) and back lighting. My components are as follows:

TV: Panasonic P65VT50
DVD: (unknown, buying 3D Blue-ray later today)
Cable: Verizon fios DVR
Receiver: Yamaha RX-V373
Game: either PS3 or Wii

I really just need simple commands. For example, if I press DVD, I want the remote to select DVD on the receiver, and turn on the DVD player (everything passes through the receiver via HDMI).

I want the remote to turn on the tv, and the receiver at the same time, ensuring the receiver is also on Cable/sat input (I just leave cable box on all the time). And of course turn off both.

The tv also has netflix, etc. so I would like to have one button to select netflix without going through the menu system.

I would like to spend under $150.00, IR is fine since the tv and components are all in line of sight in front of me at about 18 feet away. I need back lighting, and a lighted screen.

Thanks

At that price point I think you corner yourself into the Harmony of your choice.

I don't know if you'll be able to create a Netflix activity though. That would probably be reserved for a higher end control system with a bit more customization capabilities (Pro control, URC and up).
