Wife HATES our MX3000. Looking at MX1200 but dealer says I cannot program it myself. True or BS? I had a ball programming the Mx3000 and will still use it in another room but she who must be obeyed...youmarried guys understand.

Last I heard, dealers were still allowed to give end users the software. However, dealers are not REQUIRED to give the software, nor will URC give you the software directly.
