I want to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus ($299) and use either iRule or TouchSquid to create macros and control my basic family room campaign.
Any advice out there as to which of these apps are better looking, easier to create layouts, channel icons, etc...?

Touchsquid has now got their app working with the Samsung's built in IR blaster.
This means you don't have to buy an external blaster if you have a Tab Plus or Tab 2 with built in IR.
