This earlier thread lists some remotes which will control the U2-1110, 1120, and 1130 using setup code TV 0603 (10603 in remotes that take 5 digit setup codes). Besides the UEI remotes listed there, a poster suggested that Harmony would also work. The point of that thread was to be able to reset the lamp counter, and the UEI remotes don't seem to be able to do that (without using a JP1 cable). Maybe a Harmony can.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply however I am unable to reset the lamp hours on a Plus U2-1110 using a Harmony 300 remote.

Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

UPDATE.

Hello! I have remote Chandger4:1, programmed for Plus U2-1110, two couples keys PowerOn\PowerOff for single and continuous sending. But, it is not enough to reset lamp counter. In what secret?
