I have a few devices, and 4 remotes cluttering up my living room. My setup is:
Samsung LNT4665S F television Samsung HW-C700 Receiver Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300Hd (Cablevision cable box with DVR) Playstation 3 (Blu Ray/Netflix) PC Xbox 360 & Wii
Ideally, I want one remote to handle everything. Most devices are through the receiver, so it's just input of the receiver that needs to change. But the wii requires additional remotes (change receiver input, and change the TV input). I'd love a remote that is simple to use for new people (ie press Wii and everything switches as needed). control of the PC would be fantastic, but I don't know if that's possible.
I've seen a bunch of remotes, but going up to $400 tells me I need to reach out to those with some experience. Any direction would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Your PS3 requires a BlueTooth interface to use a universal remote. There are a bunch of review on this site of the different models available.
Personally, I would recomend URC's consumer remotes. They are very durable, and are pretty easy to set up.

I see URC remotes from $70 to $200. Any particular place I should start? Do indeed a top of the line remote?
This may sound silly, but is there any place to rent/test these things? Or reliable stores with good return policies?
Thanks.
