I have 4 components with my home theater and my wife gets frustrated trying to figure which remote does what. Would like one device that would allow us to select the input device and control the program. I would like to spend under $300 and place high value upon ease of use, especially if the remote had lighted keys. We do have the original remotes for our components. We use an IMPACT Acoustics remote repeater.
Components:
Sony HT-IS100 home theater sound system and video switch.
Sony BDP-S360 BluRay player
JVC DR-MV150B combo TV Tuner, DVD & VHS player
ROKU XD/S streaming video player
All this drives a projector, but we do not require projector controls on the combined remote.
Thanks for suggestions.

Do yourself a favor and get your budget p a little and take a look at the MX-980 from URC. It can be customized to look as simple as you want, and still have the familiar hard button look most remotes have anyway. Great for people who want something simple to use and customized to needs. I think the MX980 would appeal to the person who is not tech savvy
