Hello all,

My first post in some time. I have a Windows 7 PC and also an XBox 360, does anyone know of a good remote that can handle both with a catch...see below

Also, this must be RF only.

The catch?...When I say both, I mean both separately, I want to be able to control my Windows Media Center via RF through...

A) The XBox 360

and

B) WITHOUT the XBox 360 altogether, simply using the remote to control Windows Media Center just through the PC.

Does this remote exist? in RF?

Thanks much

I'm not sure how you are now controlling your Windows Media Center via RF presently. However, assuming that you have an IR remote to do so.....

The best way that I would assume would be to buy Microsoft's Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote Universal remote control - Infrared and a good quality RF Universal Remote. The URC MX-350 will transmite in both IR and RF. For RF, you would need an RF module like the MRF-350, also by URC.

All this is assuming that your Windows Media Center has IR input capability.

Thanks for the reply. I presently don't have a remote yet. I'm assuming that any current computer will have the capability to receive RF or IR via the USB port. I really don't want to have to point the remote though even though I have a pretty clear line of sight.

I was looking at the Keyspan ER-V2 RF for $41.24 at Amazon.com. Although, I'm not sure that I can even record TV because I have UVerse by AT&T.

Thanks
