I am looking for a functional universal remote that me and my wife can use. I would like something that will let me hid all of my other remotes and not have to pull them out again. My equipment list is a follows:

- Hitachi 57S700
- Rotel RSP-1066
- Scientific Atlanta HD/DVR - Explorer 8300HD
- Yamaha DVD Carousel - DVD-C950

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated? Any thoughts on the Kameleon Remotes??

Thanks,
Jason

Kameleon = Bad.

They're pretty bad remotes...not much flexibility and poor reliability.

If you're not looking for a PC programmable remote, you can get a decent one for under $100. If you wish to set up macros, I'd reccomend a PC programmable one to facilitate set up and provide you with discretes.

If you're simply looking to consolidate, check out URC's MX-500 or URC-200.
LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!
