The 8910 can definitely send the B&O 455KHz signals. Here's what you should do to make progress.

Post at hifi-remote.com in the Code Search forum.  Read the sticky, and fill out the template listing that you have a 8910, a JP1 cable, and the equipment that you have.  Also post a link to this thread.

Upload into the Diagnosis File Section (at hifi-remote.com) your IR data file so that we can see exactly what you have uploaded into the remote.  Include a link to your IR file and to the upgrade file that you used.  I suspect that the BEO4 remote upgrade should work--at least partially-- and so perhaps there is some error in carrying out the upgrade of your remote.

THe CCF and Pronto Hex codes here should be useful, but decoding them into a form for use in an upgrade may take some work.  Posting at hifi-remote.com will make sure that some experts will see your problem.
