I am looking for a remote that will be the primary home remote that the whole family can use once we get it set up. I need it to possibly have the ability to control 10 devices which are listed below and maybe even have the ability to have a favorite TV channel selection. The price range is roughly between $150 and $300, I am currently looking at the Harmony 880, Pronto TSU2000 / TSU3000 and the Philips 9800i all which are in my price range.
The devices that I want to control are:
Directv HD x2 Directv HD/DVR Sony HDTV Hitatchi HDTV Toshiba with built in DVD Player Panasonic DVD Player Onkyo Reciever
Sorry that I don't have the product number for these items any help would be great

Well, the Prontos are much, much higher-end than Harmonies. Both remotes will fully control your devices.
If you want touchscreens, go with a Pronto.
Another option is URC's MX-850. It's a great remote-much more customizable that the Harmony, 20 devices, huge code database, fully learning, macros, and pretty easy to program, although not as easy as the Harmony. It also has 5 pages dedicated to Favorite Channels, with 10 channels per page, so there's spots for 50 channels.

the 2000 is an old model that hasn't been built in years, so I would nock it out.
I am not a fan of the 9800i so I would knock it out as well.
the 880 and 3000 are good remotes.
the 880 is user friendly but limited in what it can do. The 3000 can do anything you want, but you need to take the time and effort to set it up properly.
