Looking to pick up either one... since they are both about the same price right now.
Is one far superior than the other?

Robert thanks for the tip on the AVL300-S its a good price and included RF amazon.com has sever people giving 1 star reviews likely because they didn't take the time to learn the remote or are not tech savvy.
between the two I am leaning towards the Monster remote, but URC is a solid brand as well. I am in the same boat looking for a new remote I don't really NEED RF but it would be nice to control my system from my backyard when listening to music.
