I'm looking for a good remote under $100 or just over and I can get any of these on sale and am looking for the pluses and minuses of each. I will use it for a cable box, AV reviver, DVD player (soon a blue ray player) and 6 year old Panasonic Plasma (commercial model not consumer). I may set up macros but with my current plasma that may be difficult.

Wow, now that's a coincidence. Oedis, I'm leaning toward the R50 as well, but and curious about the others. The harmony One would be great, but I'm not up for spending $200.

Yeah, I would love to have one, too. But, my home theater system is way too simple to justify the cost. Not much traffic over here on this forum.

The R50 is a good choice. The Harmony one is not bad but you are correct about the cost for a simple system. The AR remote is actually made by UEI who makes the Nevo brand of remote. It's kind of a strange product category from them and is the same as their C2 and C3 series remotes.

Good luck with your choice.
